Draft Article

America here she comes

She’s conquered the UK and now she’s taking on the USA. We catch up with Kim Sinfield and talk about how she feels about the USA , her love life and what we can expect to see from her in the near future.

Hello Kim, you look lovely today, talk us through your outfit.

Your recent single ‘One Chance’ just hit number 1 tell us about it and how you felt?

Hi, well obviously I was over the moon about it. So much hard work and thought went in to that single it is so nice to see that it’s all paid off.

So tell us, what is the meaning behind ‘One Chance’?

Well, I wrote that song within 2 weeks of being signed, it just sums up how happy I was to finally be noticed and how true it is that you only really get one chance to do what you want to do.

You haven’t been in the music industry for very long at all, how are you feeling about taking on the USA?

It’s all a bit of a shock really, never in a million years would I of thought that I would be going to the USA to be doing what I love. It seems like it’s happened so quickly and I feel so lucky and privileged as some artists don’t even get the chance to go to the USA. If I’m honest with you I don’t think it has even properly sunk in yet.

So Kim, will you be leaving behind a lot of loved ones? Boyfriend’s maybe?

Of course I will, I will miss my family deeply but no I do not have a boyfriend, relationships aren’t really my thing which is good because I don’t think I would even have time for a relationship and plus I just really want to concentrate on my music at the minute.

Do you have a ‘type’? if so what is it?

Hm, I don’t really think I do. But I like them to be very outgoing, funny obviously. I also quite like them wild and carefree especially if they have piercings and tattoos, I find that really attractive.

So we won’t be hearing wedding bells anytime soon?

No way, I don’t think I ever want to get married.

Oh no, anyway what can we be seeing from you in the near future?

Well at the minute I’m recording my album which is really fun, it’s taking all my strength and energy but it’s my passion so I don’t care.

So what type of music is mainly on the album? Is it fast, slow?

It’s all different kinds, as you know I am a happy person so mainly the songs will be happy and upbeat. I can’t stand it when an artist does an album all about their love life. It’s depressing.

So there are no depressing songs on yours?

Maybe some, none of them are about love though, thank god. But the depressing songs don’t even take up 50% of the album so I think people will enjoy it.

This is out Christmas edition; can we be expecting to hear a Christmas song from you?

No way, I don’t really like Christmas, I don’t know why I really don’t. But maybe I might get to Christmas number one, you just never know.

Thank you for your time Kim it’s been nice chatting.
